골프 아마추어 선수의 부정적평가두려움과 침묵성향의 구조적 관계
[목적] 본 연구는 골프 아마추어 선수의 부정적평가두려움과 침묵성향의 구조적 관계를 규명하는 것이 목적이다. [방법] 결과 도출을 위해 청소년 및 대학생 아마추어 골프 선수를 모집단으로 선정하여 편의표본추출법과 눈덩이표본추출법을 통해 251명의 표본을 추출하였으며, 수집된 자료는 빈도분석, 확인적 요인분석, 구조방정식모형 분석을 사용하여 분석하였다. [결과] 도출된 결과를 살펴보면 골프 아마추어 선수의 부정적평가두려움은 침묵성향의 하위요인인 체념적침묵, 비관여침묵, 방어적침묵, 기회주의침묵, 관계적침묵에 모두 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 구체적으로, 방어적침묵(β=.638)에 대한 영향력이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 관계적침묵(β=.593), 체념적침묵(β=.582), 기회주의침묵(β=.548), 비관여침묵(β=.543) 순으로 나타났다. [결론] 이러한 결과를 통해 골프 아마추어 선수의 부정적평가두려움에 따라 경험할 수 있는 침묵성향의 유형은 다양함을 시사하며, 본 연구를 통해 향후 골프 아마추어 선수와 지도자의 상호작용과 관련된 전략 수립의 기초자료로서 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
The Structural Relationship between Fear of Negative Evaluation and Silence Tendency among Amateur Golfers
[Purpose] The purpose of this study was to examine the structural relationship between fear of negative evaluation and silence tendency among amateur golfers. [Method] To achieve this purpose, adolescent and collegiate amateur golfers were selected as the population, and 251 participants were sampled using convenience sampling and snowball sampling. The collected data were analyzed using frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling. [Result] The results showed that fear of negative evaluation among amateur golfers had significant positive effects on all subfactors of silence tendency, including acquiescent silence, disengaged silence, defensive silence, opportunistic silence, and relational silence. Specifically, the effect was strongest for defensive silence (β=.638), followed by relational silence (β=.593), acquiescent silence (β=.582), opportunistic silence (β=.548), and disengaged silence (β=.543). [Conclusion] These findings suggest that the types of silence tendency experienced by amateur golfers may vary according to their level of fear of negative evaluation. It is expected that this study will provide basic data for establishing future strategies related to interactions between amateur golfers and their coaches.
